We enjoyed the travelling around the world workshop.

They found gold, jewels, spices and foods. The British sold guns to Africa. They took slaves to the West Indies. Here slaves grew sugar, tobacco and cocoa. This was shipped back to Britain. A big triangle of trade was formed. Unfortunately it was not fair and many people suffered. It was outlawed. Many people from these countries helped Britain in WW2 and came to live here. Now we have a diverse society with many wonderful foods, celebrations and designs from many cultures.
