Welsh resources for Foundation Phase
This term the nursery children have loved engaging in lots of activities linked to The Gruffalo. They worked creatively using a range of materials and techniques to create Gruffalo images. Here they’re working individually, using oil pastels and inks to create representational images and working with a talking partner to create relief sculpture Gruffalos.
Here the children are measuring the height of The Gruffalo using non-standard units.
We also took the Gruffalo on a journey through the deep dark woods, over the bumpy rocks, up and over the rickety bridge to find his way to the cosy cave.
